I thoroughly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have been blessed to acquire over the years about fitness and I want this knowledge to positively impact every area of your life.

How can I get the washboard abs that I've always wanted?
To get washboard abs it takes a combination of the right diet and exercise. Consistently eating low fat meals and watching the number of calories consumed is a must. It is also imperative to do workouts that tone and strengthen your abdominal muscles as well as burn fat.
Why do I need to strength train? Can't I just do regular exercise like walking?
Doing a combination of cardio (walking, running, and swimming) along with strength training has been proven to be the most effective in increasing your overall fitness level. Besides changing the shape of your body, strength training provides the added benefit of strengthening your bones, a key factor in fighting osteoporosis. Strength training will also help you increase lean muscle mass thereby boosting your metabolism, a key factor in weight loss.
Are my workouts private?
All sessions at the Fitness Doctor are completely private. You work out one-on-one with one of our fitness professionals in of one of our conveniently located studios or in the privacy of your own home.
I work really long hours. Can I fit a workout regimen into my schedule?
At The Fitness Doctor we realize how valuable your time is. We offer extended hours at each of our locations, so that you may be able to fit your workouts in possibly before work or after. We will also customize your routine to give you the most effective workouts to fit your schedule.
How long will it take me to see results?
Results vary for each person. At The Fitness Doctor we do not offer a one size fits all approach. We look at each individual and design a routine to achieve your fitness goals.
I am a woman and I don't want to get too bulky. Will this happen if I lift weights?
As a woman to increase muscle size significantly to the proportions of a female athlete or professional body builder, you will have to lift heavy weights frequently and eat a specialized diet, and perhaps take special supplementation. If you are looking however to increase your overall fitness and to tone up, our fitness professionals would design a routine that fit your goals.
